Probe begins in Excise Paper Leak, Bodyguard of SP MLC alleged

LUCKNOW || Investigation of First Information Report No 577/2016 under sections 419/420/ 467/468/ 471/120B IPC and section 66 IT Act registered at police station Vibhuti Khand on directions of CJM Lucknow Sandhya Srivastava, on IPS officer Amitabh Thakur’s complaint, in alleged leak of test papers of second session of Excise constable Exam held on 25 September 2016, has begun.

invThe investigating officer Inspector Vibhuti Khand, Kunwar Prabhat Singh, along with co-investigator SI Rajmani, recorded the complainant’s statement yesterday evening.

Amitabh once again said that the 01.30 PM paper of Excise constable test had already been leaked before the exam so that a person had got the paper and the answers on his WhatsApp by 12.51 PM.

He also said that as per this person, he got this paper from the Mobile number of one Bharat Yadav, associated with a Samajwadi Party MLC for long time as his personal bodyguard. Amitabh has requested to give particular attention to this fact and also to secure adequate security of the person concerned.
