Pilot Project on ‘AADHAR-based’ PDS Shops Online Transaction to be launched in Lucknow

LUCKNOW || It’s a pilot project of Government of UP and TATA trust . It’s being done on a pilot basis for the first time in Lko .

In this project all the Card holders details will be gathered and entered in a Hand held devise which will have Two SIMs for instant Data Transfer. All the Data and transaction will be instantly sent to ‘Online Server ‘

pdsEach card holder has to Register their ‘AADHAR Data ‘ in the Devise and also they have to Register their Finger prints on the Hand held device . The ‘best Finger’ for Finger print will be used for every Transaction so that it’s Quick and reliable .

As of now we have identified and linked 100% Adhar in 8 Shops (one each from each ARO of the city). From 25th June the Testing will start From 4th July , the First 8 shops will go ‘Online ‘ . For the next month we have identified 100 shops so that from 4th August 108 shops will be online (the AADHAR linkage on these 100 shops are in progress ) and by Sept 4, around 1000 shops (All shops of city) will go online .

For every Transaction the card holder will get a ‘Receipt’ and the PDS shop owner will get a ‘Daily Transaction’ details. There is a option of ‘Non AADHAR’ identification and Transaction for Special cases. In this first phase of pilot project the TATA trust will cover 1000 shops of the City area.
