JHARKHAND || Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar has one again fired a salvo at arch rival and prime minister Narendra Modi. A day before the International Yoga Day, Kumar has said that if the PM was serious about Yoga he should first ban sale and consumption of liquor in BJP-ruled states.
“Yoga’s fist principle is abstinence from consumption of liquor, so if you are serious about promoting Yoga then ban the liquor first,” the Chief Minister has said.
Kumar was speaking in Palamu at a conference of his party, the Janata Dal United on Sunday. Liquor has been banned in Bihar by Kumar. But it easily finds way in the state from neighbouring Jharkhand and Uttar Pradesh.
