LUCKNOW || Uttar Pradesh chief minister Akhilesh Yadav on Tuesday met a delegation of Japanese investors, at his official residence. The delegation is on a business tour to the state.
During the meeting, the delegates praised the government for the schemes rolled out for upgrading the infrastructure facilities through projects like the Agra-Lucknow Expressway, Lucknow Metro Rail and others.
Delegates further pointed out that Uttar Pradesh was a state with a large population and there was an immense potential of development here. Other than this, they stated, the state government was extending all facilities for investors.
They also expressed their desire to invest here and said that they will hold wide-ranging discussions on the possibilities for the same.
Welcoming the delegation, the chief minister invited them to invest in Uttar Pradesh and assured them of all possible help, cooperation and facilitation to invest here.
He also apprised them that the state government had stitched an ‘Infrastructure and Industrial Development Policy-2012’ for development of the industries. Other than this the state government, he pointed out, had rolled out many policies like the Information technology Police, Food Processing Policy, Solar Energy Policy and a Tourism Policy.
Yadav also said that the state was providing many facilities for setting up industry in the state and added that his government was committed for all-round development of the state.
