Focus on winning UP and Uttarakhand, Amit Shah tells BJP workers

DEHRADUN || Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president Amit Shah on Sunday told party workers that they should put aside the euphoria of the previous electoral wins and now focus on Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand.

assAddressing party workers in Haldwani, Shah said all victories would be meaningless if Mission 2017 is not accomplished. Both UP And Uttarakhand go to polls early next year.

Asking party men to focus on booths and ensure that the people are made aware of the policies and success of the Narendra Modi government at the centre, the senior BJP leader also termed the present period for the ruling party as “the golden period of the BJP”.

Any election cannot be won by a single person or leader, it is the combined hard work of the workers that makes us reach the victory lap, he pointed out. Underlining how not one allegation of corruption has been levelled at the NDA government in the last two years, Shah said time had come to take the hill state on the path of development and prosperity.
