LUCKNOW || Bodies of a woman and her three children were found in their house in Mauranva village of Unnao, police said on Wednesday. The door was bolted from inside and were discovered when a stink emerged from the hosue by neighbours.
Police said the bodies were at least two days old but the cause of death was yet to be ascertained. A forensic department team was pressed into service, informed superintendent of police (SP) Unnao Neha Pandey.
The woman was identified as Sarita (40), Monica (21), Mahima (14) and an infant Aastha. Husband of the deceased woman, Manoj works in Kuwait. There were no marks of injury on the bodies of anyone. The bodies have since been sent for post-mortem.
