Lucknow, May 20, 2015 || The Chief Secretary of Uttar Pradesh, Alok Ranjan has directed for completion of centralized mega call centre project as soon as possible and its launch by coming November. He said that direct feedback of beneficiaries would be obtained through this centralized mega call centre about important projects implemented in the state.
He asked to ensure publication of Request for Proposal (RFP) for call centre project by 15th June. The RFP should be opened by 15th July and finalized by 18th July. Chief Secretary was reviewing the progress of Centralized Mega Call Centre, IT City, Agra-Lucknow Expressway and Trans-Ganga projects in the meeting of Project Monitoring Group here today.
Expressing displeasure over the slow pace of work on IT City, he said that the project implementation should be expedited. He said that the project should be completed and made functional by October 2016 under all circumstances. He directed the concerned officials to apprise of the progress made in projects as per fixed milestones in future review meetings. He instructed the Environment department to issue No-objection Certificate within next one week.
Reviewing the Agra-Lucknow Expressway project, Ranjan said that package-wise review should be held on monthly basis for completion of the project as per the milestones. He said that Agra-Lucknow Expressway should be operational by October 31, 2016. The Chief Secretary directed the officials associated with Trans-Ganga project to come with complete information on the progress in review meeting to be held on coming 30th May.
He said that concerned officials will have to apprise of the progress made in projects as per fixed milestones in future review meetings. The meeting was attended by Principal Secretary, Finance – Rahul Bhatnagar, Secretary to the Chief Minister – ParthSarthi Sen Sharma, Additional CEO, U.P. Expressways Industrial Development Authority (UPEIDA)- Ashutosh Niranjan along with senior officials.
