LUCKNOW || A major fire broke out in the Mandi Parishad building of the state government in the wee hours of Monday. The fire broke out at the fifth and sixth floors of the building located in Gomtinagar.
Many important files are said to have been gutted in the blaze.
The fifth and the sixth floors of the Mandi Parishad building house the offices of the chief engineer, the deputy director and the joint director. More than ten fire tenders took several hours to douse the fire. However, thankfully enough, no one was hurt in the fire incident as the office was not open when the blaze broke out.
