Army Education Corps celebrates 95th anniversary at Central Command Lucknow

LUCKNOW || Army Educational Corps celebrated its 95th Anniversary of its raising on 01 Wednesday at the Central Command, Lucknow. Lieutenant General Balwant Singh Negi, Army Commander, Central Command complimented all ranks of Army Educational Corps for their dedication, high degree of professionalism and flexibility under challenging conditions on the occasion.

In order to accomplish a vision of progressive educational training, the Corps responded positively to the inevitable changes in the technology and organizational requirement viz revitalization of land navigational training, personality development training, strategic foreign as well as regional language training, military music training, automated maintenance of professional libraries etc.

IGNOU- Army Educational Project, the flagship project of Indian Army in distance education, has enhanced its scope with extension of educational facilities to Veterans, Veer Naris and all dependants and has seen a growth of 68%.
