Ajmer gets a ‘toy bank’ for the less fortunate children

AJMER || Initiative by a district collector in Rajasthan has brought smiles on the faces of hundreds of less fortunate children in Ajmer and Nagaur. This, as the chief minister Vasundhara Raje, on Thursday inaugurated the first ever ‘toy bank’ in the state.

toysA unique initiative by district collector Gaurav Goyal, the toy bank will get toys from all donors and distribute them among students in the state anganwari’s, primary schools and those who cannot afford them.

Raje, who inaugurated the first toy bank of the district through a video-conference, issued directions for toy banks to be opened in other districts, but also suggested that similar banks be opened for clothes and books.
